Imagine you're at a restaurant and you've just ordered a burger. Selected chains across the nation have considered of implementing the idea of charging extra for a packet of mustard or ketchup that you just ordered for your burger. In these economically tough times, restaurants have had the idea of putting this into effect but according to a recent survey conducted from the NPD Group, 80%+ consumers stated they would not even pay a tiny amount for a condiment, with half of them stating they would simply would walk out the door and go somewhere else if they were charged for their condiment. Would you personally pay for a packet of your favorite condiment?
