Astonishing Revelations

The week of Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, some incredible discoveries had been unearthed ranging from the new world's hottest pepper to a new discovery in Greenland. Starting with Greenland, 100 billions of water held by an aquifer, supposedly larger than the state of West Virginia has been discovered under a snow-covered ice sheet. The snow had played a role as an insulator keeping this water liquid year-round. Scientists are now determining how old this water is and whether it is high quality and safe. Moving on to the next discovery, the world's hottest pepper, the Carolina Reaper (grown in South Carolina)  has been found clocked in at the highest on the Scoville scale making its way into the Guinness Book of World Records.
